Lexi’s pov

Running up the stairs I felt my heart racing as I hurried to my bedroom.

When I entered Nolan was rocking his nephew in the rocking chair and lifted his hand for the bottle.

“I saw Nathan in the kitchen,” I mumbled softly and he nodded.

“He woke up again and came out cursing me, just like old times,” he sighed.

Shaking my head I lowered my eyes from his and slumped my shoulders.

“When I get finished feeding the pup I will go through the library and see if I can find some information on how to revert a vampire compulsion. I can't stand to see you looking so distraught,” he huffed and I grinned.

“It can wait until morning Nolan, but thank you for offering your assistance,” I expressed and he smiled and nodded.

Oh, by the way, you're going to be a daddy too,” I added and he gave me a heart-stopping smile.

“Good thing I'm practicing then huh?”

I went to his side and opened my arms to take Kieran from him.
