She moaned softly beneath him, her body arching, craving his touch, even as her mind screamed that this was wrong. “Please, stop. I don’t want this,” she whispered, her voice trembling with desperation. Aurora, eldest daughter of the Alpha of North Pack, was in the one place she should never be—entangled with her sworn enemy, Alpha Hunter, the ruthless Alpha of the Dark blood pack. She tried to rise, her instincts screaming for escape, but Hunter pinned her down with ease. His dark, piercing eyes locked onto hers as he growled, “Did I say you could leave?” His gaze was as dangerous as it was captivating, and his hands roamed over her body, igniting sensations she couldn’t control. Her body betrayed her, writhing under his touch. Hunter leaned closer, his lips hovering just a breath away. Aurora turned her head sharply, refusing him, her heart pounding in defiance. He caught her chin with a firm grip, forcing her to face him. “I’m warning you,” he hissed, his voice low and menacing. “Don’t you dare defy me.” His strong arms enveloped her as she struggled against him, her voice rising in desperation. “This is wrong! Stop it! We can’t do this. You’re my enemy—my pack’s enemy!” A dark chuckle escaped his lips, his breath warm against her ear as he whispered arrogantly, “Oh, my sweet little Aurora. Have you forgotten? You’re my mate.” His laughter echoed through the room, a mix of menace and triumph. Aurora’s breath hitched as his words sank in, each one more impossible than the last. What will happen when enemies turned into destined mates and rejection is not an option?

Chapter 1

My mate! My enemy!

Aurora gripped the flowing fabric of her yellow dress as she raced through the dense jungle, the scent she was following overwhelming her senses, urging her forward with an unexplainable urgency. “What’s happening to me?” she whispered, her voice trembling. A strange ache tightened in her chest—an odd mixture of ecstasy and despair. She pressed on, her bare feet brushing against the damp earth and leaves.

She wasn't the ordinary woman but daughter of the alpha of northern pack.

Suddenly, the source of the intoxicating scent appeared before her. Suddenly Aurora stopped, her breath catching in her throat as she gazed at the man standing before her.

He was tall and muscular, his broad chest and arms marked by defined veins that made him appear almost otherworldly. His short hair framed a rugged face, and a thick beard only added to his raw, masculine allure. But it was his eyes—those eyes—that held a dangerous glint, sending a chill down her spine. Despite this, her heart raced with anticipation. Words tumbled from her lips in a whisper: “Mate.”

Her pulse quickened as her gaze locked with his. Fear should’ve been the dominant emotion, but instead, a wave of joy surged within her. A smile spread across her face, her heart hammering in her chest. She stepped closer, eager to bridge the gap between them. Just as she was about to reach out, a voice shouted, cutting through the moment.

“Aurora!”

She spun around to see her brothers, Luca and Ethan, rushing toward her. Relief mixed with confusion swept over her. She wanted to share her discovery—to tell them she had found her mate—but as her brothers drew closer, their faces twisted with anger. Their eyes, filled with unmistakable hostility, were fixed on the man before her.

“How dare you enter our territory, Hunter?” Luca growled, his voice thick with venom.

Aurora’s smile faltered, replaced by confusion. Her mate—Hunter—stood motionless, his expression unreadable. Her heart clenched as she glanced between him and her brothers, struggling to understand what was happening.

“I’m here to kill ,” Hunter’s voice was cold, each word cutting through the air like a blade.

Aurora gasped, her mind spinning. She stared at him, her lips parting to protest, but before she could speak, Ethan turned to her. His voice was low, commanding, and laced with urgency. “Aurora, go. Go back to the mansion”

“But he is  my—” she began, but he interrupted her with a fierce growl. “Go!”

Tears welled in her eyes as she hesitated. She wanted to stay, to fight for the bond she felt so deeply, but the intensity in his brother's gaze left her no choice. With a heavy heart, she turned and ran, the weight of unanswered questions pressing down on her chest.

When she reached the mansion, her parents, Emily and Xander, were waiting. Their faces held a mixture of apprehension and sorrow, as though they had already anticipated what had happened through mind link with their sons.

“Mom, Dad!” Aurora cried, her voice shaking with emotion. “I found my mate!”

Emily and Xander exchanged a somber glance. Aurora’s excitement faded as she noticed their unease. “Why did Luca and Ethan react like that? What’s going on?”

Her mother hesitated, her lips parting, but no words came out. Finally, Xander sighed heavily and spoke, his voice grave. “Because he’s our enemy and Alpha of Dark blood pack”

Aurora froze, her heart breaking at the revelation. Her breath caught in her throat, and for a moment, it felt as if the ground beneath her had vanished. “No… that can’t be true,” she whispered, tears streaming down her face.

Emily reached out, but Aurora stepped back, shaking her head. Her mind raced as she grappled with the impossible truth. How could her mate—her destined partner—be the enemy?

Aurora stammered, “My mate—Hunter—is my enemy.”

Aurora stood in stunned silence, her body frozen. For a moment, it felt like time itself had stopped. Her wide eyes stared blankly ahead as she placed a trembling hand on her forehead. “Oh my God,” she whispered, her voice cracking. “How can my mate… my mate… be my enemy? No, no, this can’t be happening. The Moon God wouldn’t do this to me!”

Tears welled in her eyes, blurring her vision. She turned and ran to her room, collapsing onto her bed, burying her face in the soft covers as sobs wracked her body. “I searched for my mate… my whole life, I searched,” she choked out between cries. “And now he’s here, standing before me… but I can’t accept him. I can’t, because he’s my enemy. He came here to kill, not to claim me.”

Aurora’s cries echoed through the room, her pain palpable. Her sister-in-law, Kate, rushed in, concern etched on her face. “Aurora, stop crying,” she pleaded gently.

Aurora’s head shot up, her tear-streaked face contorted in anguish. “Please!” she cried, her voice hoarse. “Please stay away from me! I don’t want to talk to anyone. Just leave me alone!”

Kate’s heart broke at the sight of her sister-in-law in such torment. Ignoring Aurora’s pleas, she sat beside her and gently placed a comforting hand on her hair. “Aurora,” she said softly, “calm down. Everything will be alright.”

Aurora pushed herself up into a sitting position, her eyes swollen from crying. “Nothing will ever be alright,” she said, her voice cracking. “My mate… my mate is my enemy. I searched everywhere for him, and now that I’ve found him, I have to reject him. He’s dangerous, Kate. He’s not here to love me—he’s here to destroy us.”

Aurora broke down again, burying her face in Kate’s arms. Kate held her tightly, whispering comforting words, even though her own heart ached for her.

Meanwhile, in another part of the pack’s territory, Hunter walked with a confidence and said  "Step aside boys"

Luca stepped forward, blocking his path, fury in his eyes. “Hunter,” Luca growled, his voice low and menacing. “You have no right to enter our pack whenever you please.”

Hunter smirked, his lips curling into a mocking grin. “I go wherever I want. I don’t need your permission.”

Ethan, standing beside Luca, growled in response, his fingers curling into claws as his wolf threatened to surface. “You came here to fight, didn’t you? To kill. Let’s settle this now!” His voice was sharp, full of hostility.

Hunter chuckled, his piercing eyes glowing faintly. “I did come to kill,” he said, his tone calm, even taunting. “But I’ve changed my mind and now i want to meet my lovely mate”

Luca’s anger flared at Hunter’s words. “!” he roared. “I’ll kill you before you even try!” He shifted into his wolf form, ready to attack.

Hunter’s transformation began, his eyes glowing an eerie red. His chest heaved as his body heated up, fur sprouting as his back arched. The tension in the air crackled like electricity, both men teetering on the edge of battle.

Just as the fight was about to erupt, Xander mind linked Ethan and  commanded, his voice authoritative. “I want to meet Hunter, bring him here"
