2021-10-11 16:22:45Trey nudged me awake asking if he could have his arm back so he could finally go pee, so I lifted my head and felt him roll out of bed. For a few moments, I laid in silence and waited for him to return to the bedroom. By the time he came back I was now sitting up and rubbing the sleepiness out of my eyes but I was slowly falling back to sleep just doing that so I guess my rubbing isn't working.
“Morning sleepyhead…” he chucked “… how’d you sleep?” You could hear the sleepy daze in his voice while he stretched and yawned.
“I slept fine.” I yawned again, this time I was a bit less tired. I used the bathroom and returned to the room limping a bit due to my hips still hurting a bit.

It was only when night hit that we started to feel the cold. I pulled in the solar-powered chargers for the night and put them away making sure all of the electronics were off and put away. Trey occasionally shivered while he sat on the edge of the bed waiting for me to climb under the covers.
