Victoria’s POV As soon as Zane’s grandfather arrived I knew he was something. He looked straight at me and stood still for a moment. “You have your grandmother’s eyes.” He said. “I am Jacob, an old friend of your grandmother, Ethel. Victoria’s POV It did not take long to arrive back there. I did not need to look out the window to know that because I had that same feeling of dread knotted in the pit of my stomach that had been there the whole time I had lived here. “Come on, let’s get this over and done with.” Zane said to me with an encouraging smile. Eliza’s POV “Alex?” I called out to him but he glared at me like he did not want to be near me. “Eliza what the heck is going on?” My father growled and grabbed me by the arm causing me to yelp. Victoria’s POV “I can’t believe you’re alive.” I wept and hugged my grandmother with relief. She beamed at me. It had not taken us too long to arrive back at Zane’s. Victoria’s POV I blinked a few times, wondering if I had heard Zane correctly. “They were declaring war on Alex’s pack and searching for me?” This wasn’t going to end well. Alex’s POV I don’t know what it was, but something about the smell had me going deeper into that forest. I was so confused because it was not the same scent that reminded me of Eliza.
