Chapter Twelve

"It has been a long day, I am going in for a nap," said Brent, yawning and stretching himself, while they head inside.

Valerie was spotted in the sitting room waiting for them to come in, she looked weak yet still so pretty, observed Gretchen.

He made his way to her, as the rest retired to their different chambers.

"Hey," said Gretchen,

"Hey," replied Valerie,

"How do you feel?" He asked,

"Slight headache but I will be fine," she replied,

"You should be resting," he said, eyes moving to her hair tumbled down to her back, he used his hands to remove the strands of hair closing her face,

"Thank you," she said and tucked her hair in beside her ears,

"I need to tell you something about Aubrey," said Valerie,
