CHAPTER 8:SUSPICION

I looked up at Maxine when she entered my office.

"Sir? Can I go home now? It's too late" she said with her angelic voice.

I really tricked him into waiting. My employees have already gone home.

Ivan is right. If he pretends he doesn't know me, I will try to remind her. If she likes a game. Fine, I'll give it to her.

"Okay. I'll take you" I stood on the swivel chair and led her out of the office.

"Wait, Sir. It's not necessary"she chased after me. I looked at it seriously.

"Why?" raised an eyebrow when I asked her It was swallowed. And the wind blows. I wanted to laugh at her reaction but maybe she was just flirting.

It's obvious you're hiding something from me Maxine. But if that baby is my child, I will never let you give her to another man.

"Can we go now?" I asked her.

"Y-yes. Sir" she replied nervously and she walked towards the elevator first.
