Chapter 57

Rolland's heart was melted by his son's apology and he didn't want his visit at the guest house to end in quarrels and arguments with his son. He had to let it slide.

Rolland took a deep breath and leaned forward, gazing at Bryan. "Listen, son, I'm concerned about your safety, and I don't want you getting into any trouble. Everything I'm doing is for your own good," Rolland explained, trying to make Bryan understand his perspective.

"I understand Sir, I'm sorry," Bryan interjected, sounding polite with a hint of obedience.

"I can't wait to get out of here. I'm tired of all this drama," Bryan thought to himself, trying to maintain composure.

Rolland smiled, feeling pleased that Bryan seemed to have finally understood his intentions. Then, he dropped a bombshell.

"You're moving out of the guest house today. I've arranged a new apartment for you," Rolland revealed.

With a hint of disbelief, Bryan exclaimed in excitement, "Really? Thank you so much, Sir!" Springing up from the bed.
