“Let me go,” I say between my teeth.

“I’m afraid I can’t, princess,” Charles says, a little amused. “It’s either you go with him or me,” he turns around. I’m still in his arms, Felix is running towards us, and I’m grateful that we are in a city, so he can’t run at a vamp speed.

A car stops next to us, and Charles motions for me to get in, a wide grin on his face.

“I can’t leave Jane,” I shake my head.

“Jane will be fine, I spoke to Logan.”

‘Jane?’ I try to reach her.

‘I’m okay. I’m hiding. Where are you?’ she asks.

‘I’m with Charles.’

‘What? We can’t trust Charles...’
