48. Cat’s Wolf

I sat at the river bank, my drawing board perfectly mounted. The joyful Melodies of the birds chirping in a distance echoed through the forests, all the way to the river bank. It was sunny so the water felt warm as the waves splashed against my feet. I stared at the river for a while, taking in the peaceful view. I picked a stone and tossed it into the river, watching the ripples with a smile on my face.

I returned to the rock I had occupied earlier and started to draw. I faced the river and since I loved the view of the glassy water and the forest behind it, I decided to draw it so as to keep this memory with me forever.

I sketched the water, recreating the ripples I had created with the rock earlier. Next, I drew the thick rows of green trees that lined the other side of the river. After adding final touches to the sky, I stood up and headed towards the river.
