Nyx's POV

The sudden outburst of energy took out almost everyone close to us except Kieran. I still hugged Akira as tightly as I could.

“I always searched for you, I swear.” I cried, still holding her tightly.

“I thought you were dead, but my heart always called out to you.” Akira cried, hugging me tightly.

“I miss you so much,” I said.

“Thank you for saving me.” She cried, hugging me as tightly as she could.

We were there for so long, that when Kieran found a way to separate us just to go back to the pack house, he had already taken everyone else home.

We sat in the back of the Nissan, and I held her arm just as she held mine.

“You're so pretty, what the heck?” Akira giggled, cleaning the dry tears in my eyes.
