Chapter 18: The Beta family

At the Beta family residence.

Zeke had left the residence half an hour ago, alone. Leaving Morea, who was sobbing in her room,

"Morea, why are you still here?" Tyana, Zeke's mother, rushed into her room when she heard a sobbing sound and discovered Morea still lying on the bed in a tangled mess.

"Oh my goodness, and why are you crying, dear?"

Tyana gently brushed away the tears streaming down her beloved niece's face. Zeke had already departed, and if the reason Morea was bawling her eyes out was because of him, Tyana would give him a piece of her mind later.

"Is Zeke making you sad? What did he do? Tell me, I wouldn't let him go away with it so easily."

Morea made a shaking motion with her head.

"Then who? Tell me who hurt you. Why are you crying like this instead of getting ready?"

"Alpha Carlo won't let me come to him anymore," Morea replied with a sob. Her eyes were puffy from crying all day.

"What? Why on earth would he do that? You're going to be his future Luna, darling
