Erin’s POV

I woke up in the middle of the night.

I dreamt of the day I met Gavin, my freshmen year of high school. He was so handsome, and I was in such sweet bliss.

That was the moment that would change the course of my life forever. I thought I was okay; I pretended for so long that I was okay.

But I was only lying to myself.

I sat up in bed, peering around the dark room I lay in.

I was completely alone and in a place that didn’t feel comfortable to me.
