Chapter fourteen

I acted like I didn’t hear what he’d said and continued to get dressed and it seemed he realized I was ignoring him deliberately so he chuckled before walking closer to me and I closed my eyes as he put his hands on my shoulder which caused me to swallow hard.

“I’ll be going for war, don’t think I need your pathetic prayers “ he said as he violently turned me to himself and i shrieked.
