One Night With The Ruthless Beta

AMANDA’s POV…

  I held on to my head in tears as I signaled for the bar attendant to pass me another glass of alcohol. I was frustrated, heartbroken and worse of all, disgusted. He passed me the bottle of alcohol and I gulped it in a go before passing it to him and asking for another shot.

    What did he want that I didn’t give to him? I gave him all he wanted, love, attention, care and my time so how could he cheat on me? He was my first love, my everything and he knew that yet he went ahead to cheat on me with my best friend of all people. I inhaled deeply as I took another glass of alcohol, it was my fifth glass but it still wasn’t helping as i had come with the intention of clearing my head and getting that horrible scene off my memory but it didn’t seem to be helping as it kept replaying over and over again, Me walking into his room with a bouquet to celebrate our anniversary and seeing my best friend in bed with him, caressing his bare chest. I wiped my tears, “one more” I told the attendant and he shook his head.

“I’m so sorry madam, I can’t let you have another glass. You have had more than a bottle of alcohol and soon, it’s effects would start having a toll on you” he said and I took some money from my purse. I wasn’t born rich, Infact I was far from being rich. I was just a middle class waitress who worked at an eatery and was now heartbroken but I had to pay for alcohol, if it would clear my head, I was willing to do it and get drunk. 

  I slid the money on the counter to him and he looked around before accepting the money and passing me another entire bottle of alcohol.

 I gulped it in an entire go and it didn’t take long before I started feeling dizzy. I held on to my head as I looked around, the whole place was becoming blurry but despite the blurriness of the place, I could still see that scene, the one scene I was trying so hard to get rid of was back in my head and I threw the glass to the floor in anger, shattering it. I still hadn’t had enough as I took my shoes off and threw it against a table.

  I got up, being in a bar was useless. I thought alcohol would solve my problem and ease my heartache but I was wrong, it did nothing of that sort for me so I decided to leave and it was as I was leaving that I stepped on the piece of broken glass and I squeaked in pain. I was about to trip from the pain when a pair of muscular arms grabbed me and held me up.

The whole place was blurry and I raised my head only to see the most divinely created man holding me up. It was so blurry but I could still tell that he was Greek god, he was the type that could seduce a woman with just that face of his and as I put my hand on his face, I could feel how perfectly created it was and before I could examine his face more, I lost consciousness.

  When I woke up, I saw myself in a room, it looked very beautiful but was still blurred and I saw the Greek god again standing before me. I walked to him and embraced him, he had to be what I needed at the moment to get my mind off Jason’s betrayal and I was surprised when he returned the hug. I was still lost in his scent when I closed my eyes again.

  While I was still half conscious, I could feel a pair of masculine hands unzip my dress, plant kisses all over my body and make love to me and by the time he was done with all of this, we fell to the bed and this time, I lost final consciousness.

I slowly opened my eyes, my head was aching pretty badly and I looked around to see myself in a beautifully decorated room with a master sized bed. A master sized bed!

I finally came back to my senses, if I was in a master sized bed, it clearly meant I wasn’t in my room. I got out of my sleepy state and stared around the room before gulping. I quickly turned to the bedside table and took a glass of water before gulping it in a go and that was when I looked beside me to see a man lying on the bed. It was the same man, the Greek god!

I narrowed my gaze to my body and when I realized I was naked, I covered myself with the blanket and screamed in shock which awoke the man.

He got up and stared at me, “What’s wrong?” He asked coldly and I stared at him in disgust.

“You’ve taken advantage of me have you not? You knew I was drunk yet you had your way with me “ I said, tears streaming down my cheeks.

I couldn’t believe this, I couldn’t believe that I’d spent a night with an unknown man especially, for the first time in my whole life. I’d lost my virginity and it was to an unknown man!

I wanted to believe I was in a dream, I had to be in a dream but when I felt the sharp pain from my feet, I looked at it and that was when a glimpse of what had happened the previous night hit me, I’d stepped on a piece of broken glass and the injury was real so it meant whatever happened the previous night was real, especially the pain in my lower abdomen I was feeling.      

      Tears streamed down my cheeks as I stared at the man. I couldn’t believe that a man who looked as charming as that could do something as disgusting as take my virginity without my consent.

“There’s no need to cover up, there’s nothing I didn’t see last night” he said as he got out of bed and I saw that he was already in his shorts and he went and took his shirt from a chair before putting it on.

“How could you take advantage of me!” I asked in tears.. “don’t you have any shame?”

“Oh please, don’t act like you didn’t enjoy it “ he said and my eyes widened in shock.
