The perfect moment?

“I might be pregnant.” Valerie announced on the dining table and everything seemed to stop for a moment before Adira’s laughter brightened the mood.

“Congratulations, oh my god. Does he know?” She asked, assuming Alexei was the father and Valerie shook her head.

“Why?” Alice asked and she’d explained it all to them, how she thinks it was Kai’s baby. Adira’s blood boiled and she scolded Valerie for not telling her earlier.

Valerie only cried as she explained how difficult it seemed for her to tell Alexei but she was soon comforted by Adira and Alice. Putting the baby issue aside, the trio sketched out their usual plan as they would be invading wolf-Hagen again and this time she wasn’t going to forgive him.

She’d vowed she was going to humiliate him again before killing him, she allowed her anger surge through her as she continued her meal and when she was done she’d decided to take a walk outside.

Valerie thought she was treating Alexei unfairly, she might be carrying another man’s bab
