Liam’s POV

I gently roll onto my side, pulling my mate into me so we’re facing one another on our sides. Kissing her gently, thumbing her marks. “Did that hurt you?”. She smiles, “if you couldn’t notice it was a huge turn on”. I blush. I did notice. She gently closes her eyes, clearly at peace.

“Emma, baby… I want you to mark me”. Her eyes open widely. “But… if I mark you, you will feel my pain and my memories”, she looks down.
