MIA’S POV

“I told you I don’t want to ever be reminded of him again!” I grabbed Nixon’s phone and threw it on the floor.

“Hey! That is not nice!”

“Shhh! If my Mom wakes up your dead.”

Nixon took his phone, and apologized. He just wanted to cheer me up and if Davon would be the reason, he have all ears.

“Thanks for your concern, but like I said, I wanted to forget Davon.”

“And l told you I can call my Dad and have him on the phone to talk to you. Maybe you need to clear your relationship with him.”

“It doesn’t matter. If he wanted to continue us, he would have called or visit. But he didn’t. There’s no use forcing us.”

Nixon stayed for an hour listening to my pain. He wanted me to unload my burden to him and then move on. He’s right, there’s no reason for me to hurt myself. Moving on is the best choice.
