DAVON’S POV

Theo narrated after I left. Mia’s struggle to forget me, our past, and our love. I now know why she hated me, and that made me wonder if I deserve her.

“That’s sad, but let’s here Davon’s reasons. We cannot jump into conclusion without hearing his side,” Aunt Criselda said, waiting for me to talk.

I explained everything to Theo. He was silent the whole time, contemplating on my story. If he deny me, I don’t know who else to approach to help me with Mia.

“Bro, if you lost your phone, you should have visit her. I know it’s a long drive and very tiring, but at least that way Mia will know the problem.”

“I know it’s my fault. I shouldn’t have assumed that she would wait for me and understand my situation without telling her. I was just caught up with the responsibility given to me, and I thought I needed to improve myself so I could catch up with this world.”
