DAVON’S POV

Mia is the only person who could tell me about Vera. If she’s back, I have to be really careful and hide. Not only she could do harm to me but also to Mia.

Theo told me that she would be discharge in the afternoon. I went back to the hospital dress as a utility personnel. I stole the uniform in the locker room of the stuff when I used the back door.

Covering my face with a mask, I took a map and a pail, and clean the hallway on the floor where Mia was confined. I waited for a few minutes for Jeffrey or Elon, but I didn’t see their shadows.

Moments later, I used the cap I found inside the utility uniform’s pocket and wears it. I went to Mia’s room and check the toilet. When it was clear that she was alone, I immediately approached her.

“Mia, is it true that Vera is back?”
