Behind those masks!

"I don't need your help," She muttered, shaking her head weakly.

He frowned, pulling his hand away. "Why?"

She shook her head lightly. "Nothing."

"Celine." He insisted.

She closed her eyes tightly, trying to hold back her tears again. She had no idea how long this conversation was going to continue. How much longer she was going to have to listen to his endless apologies. She couldn't handle that anymore. She was tired.

Tired of listening to all his stupid words and pretending to agree with everything he said. She was tired of pretending to forgive him when she couldn't even begin to imagine forgiving him.

It was easier just to shut him out. Maybe it wouldn't work out. Maybe she wasn't really supposed to forgive him after all. Maybe she should try to find some way to forget him. Forget that he existed. That he ever existed.
