Chapter 53
It was sunrise as the rays crept gently into my eyes.
"Good morning sir," A female nurse greeted making me open my eyes completely.
I noticed I rested my head on Amanda's bed and still held her hands.
I looked at her and she was still asleep.
I smiled and kissed her hands.
I looked back at the nurse and flashed her smile making her blush.
I stood up to leave so that Amanda would be taken care of.
"Good morning Drake!" Amanda greeted grabbing my hands as she flashed me a bright smile.
"Good morning Princess," I said warmly bending over her to kiss her on the lips.
"Hope you slept well?" I asked brushing her hair off her face.
"Yes, I did." She answered and I smiled at her.
"I need to attend to her," The nurse said reminding us of her presence.
We both stared at her and I nodded.

Stretching my hands wanting to feel Drake's body but felt the bedsheets instead.Still sleepy I turned to the other side using my hands to look for where he was."Drake!," I murmured.I opened my eyes and sat up immediately but there was no sign of him on the bed.I scanned the room with my eyes but I didn't see a glimpse of him."Where did he go this early?"
