“Trust me I wasn’t trying to seduce you,” I reply, fighting off the heat and getting my composure back. He lifts one eyebrow up as though he couldn’t believe it. 

“Felt like it, though.” He says. I look him straight in the eye, and he sits up straight, feeling the change in my demeanour. 

I lean forward, suddenly feeling powerful. 

“That was anything but seducing. If I was to seduce, you wouldn’t have been able to hold up your composure or stand straight for that matter.” I whisper. His eyes widen, and he suddenly looks out of breath. I sit back, a smirk playing on my lips. I loved how powerful this made me feel. I hadn’t done this before, and somehow Gabrielle was arousing a side of me that I didn’t know existed.
