I politely smile at the people while Gabrielle leads me further into the hall. The hall was so huge that it made even a crowd like this look small. I wanted to duck my head, but wherever we went, I could feel the stares in my back. 

The stares weren’t much directed at me but at Gabrielle. People looked at him as though he was the king of a large country. I guess he kind of was in a way in the world of business. This made me wonder, what a twisted fate it was for me to come across a man so powerful, forget about having him as my sugar daddy. It all felt like a dream to me. 

The smile soon slips from my face, and I find myself looking at my surrounding me with awe. Huge chandeliers hung from the ceiling, glittering like diamonds under the warm lighting.
