KAI'S POV

A low, involuntary growl rumbled from my throat as I pulled myself away from Rodney, my cock slipping out of him with an almost relectant ease.

Still hard.

Still craving more.

But the moment was shattered by that damn student—Ethan. His name had only come to my attention yesterday when he’d been lurking around during my patrol. The memory of it made my jaw tighten.

"Are we done?" Rodney’s voice was barely a whisper, his body still hung over my desk, his ass tilted toward me in a way that was almost taunting. The scent of his arousal mixed with the faint trace of his cologne lingered in the air, clinging to every surface of my office like a secret too loud to keep.

"Wear your fucking clothes and leave," I growled softly, zipping up my trousers with a sharp tug.

My head was already spinning with the implications of what had just happened.

A student saw me.

A goddamn student. This couldn’t get out!, it would ruin everything.

The carefully curated image I’d built at this school, the mission I was here to complete, everything would be shattered if word got out, and my Mission will be ruined here in Petaluma College.

Yes, I'm an assassin, and the only reason i'm in this school is to kill just one person.

Oran Gorge the Camouflage.

I sank into my chair, rubbing my temples as my gaze flicked to Rodney. He was small, fragile, and so painfully naive—just my type. The kind of man who could take all of me without complaint, who looked at me with a mix of fear and adoration that I found both intoxicating and suffocating.

Obsessed.

That’s what he was. And I’d used that to my advantage more times than I could count.

"You can go now," I said, not bothering to look at him. "I’ll call for you when I need you."

The scent of him lingered as he shuffled out, dragging his feet like a kicked puppy. My dick throbbed in protest, still hard, still unsatisfied, but I pushed the thought aside. There were bigger things to deal with—like Ethan.

Stepping out into the hallway, I noticed the scattered papers on the floor. No doubt Ethan had dropped them in his panic. I bent down to pick them up, the crisp texture of the pages brushing against my fingertips. The group attendant project. I tossed them back to the floor just as Rodney slipped out the door, his movements sluggish, his dissatisfaction written all over him.

"Just leave," I muttered under my breath, my tone sharp enough to make him flinch.

Back in my office, I grabbed my phone and dialed the class president’s number. It rang for some moment before he picked up.

"Tell Ethan Allen to see me in my office now," I ordered, my voice calm but laced with authority. A curt "Yes sir" was all I got before I hung up.

I sank into the couch, running my hands through my hair in frustration. My head was a mess, my dick still hard beneath my pants, and the weight of the situation pressed down on me like a lead blanket.

What do I do with him?

Threaten him?

Beg him to understand?

Neither option felt right, but I couldn’t let this blow up.

Knock.

The sound was soft, almost hesitant, but I knew it was him. I stood, smoothing out my expression not to scare him off before opening the door.

There he was—Ethan.

His backpack hung loosely from one shoulder, the papers clutched tightly in his hands. His head was down, his face hidden beneath a mop of dark hair, but I could feel the tension radiating off him.

"Come in, Ethan," I said, my voice calm—too calm, that I just couldn't believe my own voice. I stepped aside to let him pass, closing the door behind him with a soft click. The room felt smaller with him in it, the air thick with unspoken tension.

I stood in front of him, my tall frame casting a shadow over his smaller one. His scent hit me first—something clean, like soap and fresh linen..but there was a hint of something else beneath it.

Fear?

Nervousness?

His fingers twisted together, and tiny beads of sweat dotted his forehead, and I could hear his shakily breath.

"You’re Ethan, right?" I began, my tone measured. He nodded but kept his eyes fixed on the floor. The silence stretched between us, broken only by the steady ticking of the clock and the hum of the AC.

"You came to drop off these papers earlier," I continued, gesturing to the stack in his hands. "But you dropped them outside and left." Another nod. Jesus Christ, talk to me.

"And you saw what happened here earlier, didn’t you?" My eyes bore into him, searching for any sign of resistance or defiance.

Still, he said nothing.

The quiet was maddening.

"You’re not saying anything, Ethan?" I reached out, tilting his chin up with my fingers until his eyes met mine.

Tears.

They shimmered in the corners of his eyes, a silent plea that caught me off guard. For a moment, I forgot about the mission, the threat he posed—everything.

"Ethan, are you okay?" I asked softly, leaning closer to him. His breath hitched, and his lips trembled as if he were wrestling with something inside.

Then he spoke, his voice barely audible but carrying a weight that stopped me cold.

"Can you have sex with me, please?"He muttered his lips quivering

The words hung in the air between us, raw and desperate. My heart skipped a beat, and for the first time in a long while, I was at a loss for words.

NEXT MORNINGETHAN'S POVI sat up in bed, my eyes heavy and gritty, like I hadn’t slept at all, last night. The sun sneaked through the shades and curtains, its light sharp and unwelcome, stabbing into my room. My body felt sluggish, while my heart felt heavier, restless and worn out from crying all night. Tears had drained me, left my face raw and my chest hollow, all because of him—Professor Kai. I hated myself for it, for letting him break me like this.Last night was a nightmare I couldn’t shake. If someone had told me I’d run into my own misery, I’d have called it a lie. First, seeing Kai with that guy, same guy he had a thing with in his office, walking so close, like I didn’t exist. Then Kai’s words, his brutal cold and final words. "I HAVE SOMEONE ELSE ." The memory stung me, a fresh wound, and worse, I’d lashed out on me, knocking his phone to the ground, shattering it. Why did I do that? Why did I show him my anger, my beastly side, when that’s not who I am? My hands

  • PROFESSOR'S PET (M×M)   CHAPTER 48: WHO I AM.

KAI’S POVMy hand shot up, catching Kelvin’s wrist mid-air, twisting it hard until he grunted, his body lurching forward, pain flashing across his face. The training room gasped, the air thick with tension, every eye locked on us, waiting for blood. My heart pounded, not with fear but with a cold, calculated fury that burned through my veins. I leaned in close, my voice a low growl, my breath hot against his ear. “Don’t test me, Kelvin. You won’t like what happens.”I shoved him back, hard, and he stumbled, his eyes wide with shock. I turned to the treadmill, my hands shaking with restrained anger, my fingers gripping the handles like they could anchor me. The crowd whispered, their stares heavy, but I didn’t care. Kelvin wanted to play leader? With me? Fine, let him try. But I wasn’t here for his games—or Pedro’s.A sudden grunt and shuffle behind me snapped my focus, and thanks to my instincts, I spun around, my pulse spiking, and saw Kelvin charging, a penknife glinting in h

  • PROFESSOR'S PET (M×M)   CHAPTER 47

KAI’S POV 5 AM The cold bit at my skin as I rolled out of bed at 5 AM, my body stiff from the chilly night. Pedro’s penthouse sat on the outskirts of town, surrounded by woods—trees and grass stretching into the dark countryside, making the air sharp and unforgiving. I shivered, my feet hitting the icy floor, and forced myself to stand, my breath visible in the dim room. I needed to shake off the cold, shake off the weight of yesterday—Ethan’s tears, Pedro’s games, the camera in my room. My heart thudded, heavy with frustration, as I shuffled to the wardrobe. I yanked it open, the hinges creaking softly, revealing a dusty, barren space. My old bag was there, stuffed with clothes that smelled muddy, untouched for years. I pulled on a sweatshirt and sweatpants, the fabric rough but warm, and stepped out, my boots quiet on the floor. My mind was already racing, itching for something to ground me. I headed down the hallway toward the training ground, craving a solo workout to cl

CHAPTER 46 KAI’S POV “Fine then…” I trailed off, my voice low and edged with suspicion as I walked back to Pedro, my boots heavy on the floor. My heart pounded, a mix of anger and wariness twisting in my chest. “How can I trust you?” I asked, my eyes locking onto his, searching for the lie I knew was there. His face fell for a split second, hurt flashing in his eyes, but he covered it fast with a smirk. “I’m still your father figure, Kai. How can you not trust me?” he asked, his tone smooth but laced with offense, like I’d slapped him. I chuckled, a silent, bitter sound that rumbled in my throat, my lips curling in disbelief. “Then that means I’m taking my hands off this deal,” I announced, my voice firm, my fists clenching at my sides. “How so, Kai?” he pressed, leaning forward, his eyes narrowing. “Draft a legal contract, very detailed, before tomorrow. Then I can think about it,” I said, turning sharply toward the door, my coat brushing against my legs. “I’ll be staying in my

  • PROFESSOR'S PET (M×M)   CHAPTER 45

KAI’S POV I stood before the towering gates of Pedro’s penthouse, my eyes narrowing at the iron bars stretching into the evening sky. My chest tightened, a familiar mix of dread and resolve settling in my bones. The security guard must’ve known I was coming—he swung the smaller gate open without a word, his face blank. I ignored his half-hearted greeting, brushing past him with quick, heavy steps, my boots crunching on the gravel. I didn’t have time for pleasantries, not with my mind still spinning from Ethan’s tear-streaked face and the weight of my own lies. I reached the main house, my hand pausing on the door handle, fingers gripping the cool metal. Laughter and clattering voices spilled out from inside, loud and carefree, but I knew the second I walked in, it’d all stop. My presence had that effect—like a storm rolling in. I pushed the door open, stepping into the living room, and the air froze. Every head turned, eyes locking onto me, some with curiosity, others with silent

ETHAN’S POV“How about you answer me first?” I said, my voice shaking but pushing through, my heart pounding so hard it hurt. “Do you have someone else?”Professor Kai stared at me, a small smile on his lips that didn’t reach his eyes, and said, “Yes, Ethan. I have someone else.” The words hit me like a slap, cold and final, shattering something inside me. Tears fell from my eyes, hot and fast, even dripping from my nose, my body trembling as sobs built up in my chest. I felt broken, small, like everything I’d hoped for was a lie.He stepped forward, his hand reaching for my face, and rage exploded in me—I didn’t think, I just swung my arm, hitting his hand away with all the force I had. His phone flew out, crashing to the ground with a loud crack, the screen breaking into pieces. My breath caught, shock freezing me as I stared at it, my hands shaking at my sides.Kai bent down slowly, picking up the phone, dusting it off, and gave me one last look—cold, distant—before walking awa
