Chapter 9 Send Her to Prison!

Once the workers were done rifling through everything and had left, the once majestic villa was now in a state of disrepair. Even the pearwood doors had been removed.

An old aide limped into the room, dragging a box containing clothes and expensive jewelry behind her. “Miss, when they came, I packed away all the things you liked.”

Looking at the aide’s leg, Jenna could see that those people had used force. Her eyes reddened. “Aunt Lily…”

Aunt Lily had watched her grow up and was one of the aides her mother had brought.

Afraid those men would return, Aunt Lily brought them to her own home. It was a simple two-bedroom house with a living room and a spotless room for Jenna.

“When I first started working for your mother, she helped me pay the down payment for this house. It’s a shame the Madam…”

At this, Jenna smiled bitterly.

Look! Even an aide knew to repay the kindness. She had helped Yvonne so much, yet Yvonne turned around and bit the hand that fed her!

Jenna carefully put her parents’ memorial tablets in place.

From the jewelry box, other than a few pieces of precious jewelry passed on by her mother when she passed, she gave the rest of it to Aunt Lily. “Aunt Lily, I will leave my parents’ memorial tablets here with you temporarily. I still have things I need to get done.”

Aunt Lily said, “I heard the old Madam isn’t doing well. Why don’t I go to the hospital to take care of her?”

“My grandmother has the nurses to take care of her. You have a bad leg, so you should rest at home.” Once she bade goodbye to Aunt Lily, Jenna drove toward the hospital.

As she did so, she got a little lost in thought.

Now that she had nothing, what could she use to take revenge? Moreover, what could she do to take back Seabright?

The stern and cold silhouette of a man suddenly appeared in her mind.

Jenna shook her head, waving away all thoughts of that man. She would go to the hospital to visit her grandmother while thinking of some other ways.

It was then that a Bentley drove by her.

The backseat window was rolled halfway down, and a view of the person sitting within flashed in Jenna’s peripheral vision.

That was Shawn Sadler!

Jenna stepped on the accelerator and followed the Bentley closely. Recalling Shawn’s cruel ways and the scene of her parents’ memorial tablets crashing to the ground, her eyes filled with hatred.

This would be a good opportunity to strike.

If she could kill Shawn by crashing into him, she could take revenge for her parents without begging that man and preserve her last shred of dignity.

The Bentley in front changed lanes a few times, causing Jenna to almost lost sight of it.

When she caught up to it once again, Jenna smiled viciously and floored the accelerator, crashing straight into it!

The Bentley was thrown into the air and rolled a few times before finally landing on its ceiling.

Due to the impact, Jenna, too, was unable to control the steering wheel. The car crashed through the guardrail and overturned. In the driver’s seat, Jenna’s head was bleeding, and her body was covered in shards of glass.

She gasped for breath as she looked at the Bentley burning not far away with a relieved smile on her lips.

She had finally taken revenge for her parents!

However, before Jenna could relax, she saw Shawn walk toward her, with his suit nary a wrinkle. She stared.

“Jenna, we’ve lived together for more than twenty years now. I understand your temper the best. I saw you catch up to us long ago and called for someone to drive another car over and swap cars while we were at a red light.”

“Shawn…” Jenna gritted her teeth in hatred. Before she could continue, she fainted over the steering wheel.

As Shawn looked at the woman covered in blood in the car, her small face deathly pale. He recalled the way she used to cling to him affectionately, and his cold gaze softened a little.

He was about to reach out his hand to her when the sound of an ambulance approached, and the paramedics swarmed out of the car.

How did the ambulance come so quickly?

As he watched the paramedics rush over, Shawn did not think much more of it and got into the Bentley by the road with a cold instruction.

“Call the police and report Jenna Radcliff for attempted murder. Make sure she’s imprisoned!”

Very soon, Yvonne, who had been at home accompanying her son, received a call from her contact. They informed her that Jenna had tried to run Shawn over with her car but instead had been sent to the hospital by him.

Yvonne felt a sense of satisfaction when she heard this piece of news.

The last time Jenna had come to their home and caused a ruckus, her son had accidentally fallen from her arms and slept for a day, which had scared her a lot.

Yvonne said with hatred, “Arrange for two people to go in and take good care of her!”

Who told Jenna to take the initiative to talk to her in university and bring her out traveling? Buying her all sorts of clothes and bags and making her realize that people were simply inherently unequal from the beginning?

It was all Jenna’s fault for being stupid and being unable to judge others accurately.

She had initially planned to let Jenna go, but she could not forgive her for almost killing her son!
