"Why do you want to know?"

He suddenly went defensive, whoever this lady was I was certain she had a lot to do with him.

It was not mere coincidence that she Walked up to where I was, and it was not coincidental that she was acting this way too.

"I don't know, I just feel—"

His laughter pitched through the room till I felt embarrassed.

"So, I take you out once and you feel all important."

"Get away from me." He said with a growl.

I was a bit surprised at the sudden temper but at that moment I knew the best for me at that moment was to leave.

We stared at each other for another moment. He walked back to the dresser while I took a slow step back, before turning around and heading to the door.
