"I need time," Tanya said when Isaac pulled away, both of them catching their breath. "I need to think," she added, avoiding his orifices. His pleading gaze would make her act on caprice and she didn't want that.
"That's enough for me," Isaac said and turned to the crowd. "Every drink is on me." That said, he led Tanya to the car by the waist, not caring about the cheers behind them. This was his first real date and it was quite successful so his mood was good.
When they returned to the penthouse, he excused her while she changed into her night things. When he said he was going to sleep on the couch, Tanya had thought of the living room but Isaac meant the couch in the bedroom. They weren't going to share the same bed but they would be in the same room.

"Relax, they don't bite," Isaac assured Tanya during the drive to his old manor. His left hand held the steering wheel while his right hand rested on her thigh comfortingly. Deep down, he kept wondering what else his father had in store for him. After pulling such a ruse earlier, he couldn't bring himself to trust him again. "Do you think they will like me?" Tanya asked shyly. Between both of them, they were pretending but there was also a probability that they might date for real if Isaac accepted her after knowing her past so it was very important to make a good first impression. She even let Isaac choose her outfit and directed her on what to do with the make-up to be just right. "Tanya, I don't care whether they like you or not. The choice is mine," Isaac blatantly said. Isaac wasn't selfish. Even though he wanted more than anything to be married to Tanya, he still cared about her feelings. Throughout the drive home, Isaac kept asking her. "Are you sure about this?"
