Chapter 19— This Means War

The next morning, Ryan woke up in his car clueless of how he got there.

"Uhhhh!" He complained bitterly about the pains he felt all over his body.

He felt a sharp pain on his lips and when touched it, a little stain of blood followed his finger tip. He gasped!

He quickly bent the rear view mirror over to his side so he could have a better look at his face.

Ryan was shocked to see bruises all over his face along with a swollen eye— one of his eye was so swollen that the skin underneath the eye and his eyelid became so close to each other, he could almost not see with that eye.

Ryan sighed with sadness. He could recall what happened to him last night and they must've taken him to his car when he blacked out. He also remembered that the front tires of the car were flattened out. He threw a punch at the steering wheel in anger.

He got down from the car with a struggle; as he ached all over. He felt a deathly pain in his arm and leg, he had to lean over on the car to aid his movement.
