Lara continued to run up the stairs in her black heels, “Shit! I can’t run in these anymore!” She angrily took off the shoes from her feet. She turned to see two men running behind her, immediately she hit the men on the face with each shoe!Urghh! Urghh! Lara gasped in shock when she saw a tall man dressed in black standing in front of her. “Let’s make this easy for both of us, shall we?” He scoffed and adjusted his leather jacket, “FBI! I’m agent Ryan Steven. Just hand over the diamond and all this will be over!” The tall man showed off his ID to create fear in Lara’s heart. “Never!” She whispered and threw a tiny black ball at him, immediately the ball exploded loudly and filled the air with thick purple dust! Lara took to her heels and gave it a run for her life, she opened the last door on the roof which led her to a wide space, she felt the air of freedom touch her skin. “Jack! Let’s go!” She called. Jack was all packed up and ready to go, he ran behind Lara towards the helicopter that had been set to take off as soon the boss came up to the roof. Oliver the pilot gestured his hand towards them telling them to hasten up “Come on guys!” “Hey stop there or I’ll shoot!” The FBI threatened from behind. “Damn it!” Lara cursed.

It was another busy day in New York City, the roads were filled with cars like sardines, drivers continued to honk at every opportunity they had, pedestrians walked up and down the roads; each with a destination in mind. Businesses were ready for another day's sales. Ryan Steven had slept through the ringing of his clock on his table. After a stressful yesterday's shift with an injured bandaged knee and a resounding headache, he was exhausted beyond a night's sleep.
