I hovered over Bella trying to think of something I could do to comfort her as her breathing became labored, more screams slowly happening around me as others felt the first stages.

“Bella… what can I do?” I did not expect her to answer and she didn’t too focused on the obvious pain.

I watched mystified and horrified as I watched her left arm jut out as bones broke and reformed in front of my eyes. She had her mouth clamped shut as if she was refusing to allow herself to scream. I glanced around the room as I saw many people in the same position, the rest of us waiting in a panicked trance. My eyes met with Victor’s again as he seemed to be watching me intensely, his expression disappointed as if he had expected me to start shifting already.

I wasn’t sure about this book until the last couple of chapters. I’m liking it. I get confused with some of the skipping around the characters but I like the story. I also like that it’s not constant sex, just feelings. Especially since these are basically kids. Lol.

    Hello everyone, I am sorry if this chapter update disappoints any of you as I am unable to reply/comment on chapters at the moment due to problems with my phone. Essentially, if you missed my last comment I have been having the worst luck recently, my laptop decided to play up (wouldn't turn on etc), my phone is an older model so I can not rely on that to update chapters so had left a previous comment advising that until I can get my laptop in a better state I am unable to update chapters. Today I have seen comments saying that the site is suggesting my book is completed, this is incorrect. I am doing my best to get my tech fixed or to find alternatives, I have managed to get some life into my laptop but are having issues with word.
