Chapter 15
Suspiciously I located Xander rather quickly, giggling in conversation with Anya behind the packhouse behind some of the forestry. I felt my heart pang at the sight of them remembering the Luna cussing him out, was it true? I watched in anger as he placed his hand against Anya’s cheek, his lips moving into a small smile. The same smile he used to give me. I felt my hands begin to shake as it hit me, it was all true. He never loved me, probably never even cared. I watched as he bent down towards Anya’s lips, time slowing as they connected. The rumors were true. I barged over to them, the heat of my anger seeming to radiate off of me.

His eyes flicked back to me before he sighed, I held firm and crossed my arms showing him I was not going to let this go. He groaned before speaking. “I just… Ellen… I…” his tone seemed panicked.
