INICIAR SESIÓN
Death had never felt more fucking welcome than on Elara's own birthday.
The entire pack was outside, waiting to celebrate her life, but inside, her own mate was slowly killing her, burying her alive with his words that cut deeper than any sword or teeth. "... Elara… Can you hear me? This damn bitch... You can’t just zone out when I’m speaking to you.” He said, snapping his fingers in front of her face. “…You need to say those words back to me. Do you understand me? It is important that you say you accept Sera as my concubine now before I tell everyone else in the pack. It shows a united front in our family and our pack in general" "I... I don't understand you..." Elara managed to say. The way he spoke to her was concerning. Like she was the weird one. Like he was not destroying their home and still asking her for a united front. Her mouth felt like it was stuffed with cotton wool, her head was ringing like she had just been hit. He was standing in front of her, but protecting another woman, hiding her behind him, like she was the problem. Like she was not the one who had been hurt. “What is it that you do not understand, Elara? The fact that they was a vacant role in our family that I needed to fill? Or the fact that I am telling you about it?” Alpha Lucan asked, while the other woman still hid behind him. “A vacant role? You mean my role as your mate? As the only female in your life? On my birthday? You’re telling me, your mate, that you chose a concubine and you will be announcing her to the pack as a part of our family on my birthday?” Elara knew she was barely making any sense. Asking questions that she already knew the answers to, but she could not help herself. Some loose strands of her pure white hair fell from the bun on top her hair and landed on her face. A stark reminder of the curse she bore on herself. Her white hair was the reason for all these. The reason he and every one else had hated her since she was born, the reason he was ‘filling up her position’, the reason he was announcing Sera as his new concubine, on her birthday. A party he had planned by himself. He couldn't even wait. He didn't even let her understand or get an opinion. "A concubine? You picked this Omega, as a concubine?! Do you have any idea what you're saying to me? What you're asking me to do? I'm your mate, Lucan!!" Elara snapped at the alpha. It was the first time she had ever raised her voice around him. There were in a one of the grand halls that belonged to the pack where they held many events. He had picked this particular one out for her birthday party himself and it was a few minutes till she would be called out for the celebration proper and yet he had slid into her dressing room with the snake hiding behind him in tow and inform her of his new decision. At her birthday celebration. No wonder he had gone all out with the celebrations. Alpha Lucan had never done anything if he did not stand to gain from it. She had watched him barking out orders at the event organizers to mix in pink colors on the ornaments, plates and towels as they decorated, even though he knew that wasn't her color and she knew it sure as hell wasn't his either. "This decision…this new inclusion in our family, this vacant role that you hope to fill… Do I not get a say in it?" Elara whispered. The omega who had kept her face to the ground the entire time, poked her head up and stared up at Elara through her pitch black hair. If Elara had blinked, she would have missed the sneer that crossed the omega's face. The omega made it worse by giggling, expertly pretending like she had been coughing. “Is something funny, Sera?” Elara asked the omega before she could stop herself. “Don’t speak to her like that.” Elara did a double take at the stern warning growl that left her mates lips as he spoke, defending his new concubine. Elara's usually silent wolf, stirred to the surface. Was this what she had to deal with from now on? Because she had to be frank, there was really no changing his mind. The very fact that she opposed it, would only make him double down on it and make sure it happened. He was always like that with her, she had learned to accept it. In hind sight, this was her fault too. Elara had seen the signs, she had noticed the way he came home late or barely came home at all. She had brushed it off as his usual alpha business and responsibilities, even though the sinking feeling had been there, brewing all along. "Lucan, please, don't be like this. Don't hurt me like this" she whispered, hoping that no one walking on the corridor would hear her begging. It hurt her pride to beg, especially in front of an Omega, but that was what she had been reduced to. This was what she had become. "Do you even hear yourself, Elara? Or are you trying to go against me in front of an omega?" Alpha Lucan spat. “Oh now you know she is an omega! Now you think it is embarrassing? You just said you found me lacking! You just said the only one you could find to fill the role was an omega was an omega you’ve been rolling around in the mud with! All in front of this same omega!” Elara tried her best to tone down her voice, as it would be perceived as disrespectful to raise her voice on her alpha in front of someone as low in rank as an omega. That was why it hurt. She would be sharing her mate with an omega, a low ranking female who should not have been anywhere near her mate. “You’re my mate, Lucan. My mate” "You're my mate, yes, and then what? Can't I at least have a woman in my life who I could be happy with? Who I can actually stand in bed? Because of your curse, I could die today without my alpha heir!" Alpha Lucan seethed, all the while still keeping Sera behind him. The snivelling bitch on the other hand, grabbed on to Alpha Lucan’s broad chest for her dear life. Almost like she was taunting Elara. Blood rushed to Elara's head, as she replayed Lucan’s last words. "My curse? I can bear children, Lucan. You know I can" her heart beat slammed against her ribcage, like it wanted to jump right out of her. "Have you stayed in the pack house for so long, it dulled your brain? Haven't you looked at your self? I should have listened. I was warned, I was told to reject you as my mate and pick someone else that would not bring problems to me, but I was young and stupid and I didn't listen" he said and looked at her obvious white hair with disdain. It was the only thing she received in terms of resemblance from her mother. And right now, it was her curse.Episode 7Elara felt the world spin around her... she was loosing balanve slowly and coukd feel the damage whatever was in those arrows were doing to her body.Poison. Poison. They was poison in the arrows.Fear, deep and engraved washed over Elara. She was going to die. It was all over. Everything, all the plans she had for her life, all of her wishes, her thoughts and dreams ended by the man she knew as her mate.Alpha Lucan, her mate...or maybe, former mate... walked slowly towards her. Advancing like he was stalking his prey, his arrow still drawn and aimed at her. She was alone, all alone, even in her death, she was alone. Alpha Riven had walked away. He had left her all alone to die at the hands of this monster. "Foolish female..." Alpha Lucan said as he walked closer."You stupid, clueless, useless bitch!""Lucan..." Elara said, her voice slowly fading from the weight of the poison in her veins.Alpha Lucan came to a slow stop right in front of her limp form, he took one look
Episode 6 Elara woke with a groan and a gasp. The world was upside down and it was moving. She could not feel her legs, only the dull pain of something weighing on her stomach. Or her stomach weighing on something, she couldn't tell. She blinked a few times to clear her head. "what... Where am I?" She groaned, trying and failing to understand her bearings. "Oh good, you're awake. Finally" the voice sounded closer to her than it should be. That was when Elara realized that she was being carried over Alpha Riven's shoulder like a sack of potatoes as he walked. Suddenly, the world tilted back to how she knew it, as he dropped her to the floor, facing him. She looked around and they were in a thick forest. She did not know how far away they were from. Alpha Lucan and his pack. She did not recognize the hills or trees, especially since she'd never left the pack lands in years. "Where are we?" She asked him as she rubbed her throbbing head. It was dark, with the only light provid
Chapter 5 "Isn't your concubine leaving too?" Elara asked. "Do as you're told, Luna. Don't question me in front of my peers." Like a bolt of lightening, her dreams barrelled into her. She turned towards Morgana who was looking disappointed and angry, then to Lucan who's eyes had already moved back to Sera, and Sera who looked comfortable, enjoying the attention of the alpha. Three of them. Something was going on. There was a reason they were in her dreams. Alpha Riven finished his statement with an annoying smirk, leveling Elara with a long stare, taunting her. Daring her to take the bait. Morgana's hand came to rest on Elara's shoulder as she says "You cannot entice our Luna with your pretty words, Alpha Riven" "Wha... What did you mean when you said they had been lying?" Elara's shrill voice asked, her own gaze locked on Alpha Riven's. She felt Morgana's fingernails dig into her shoulders, expressing her disapproval at her question. "I cannot tell you exactly
"Fireheart" Elara found herself in front of the same large moon again. She immediately knew it was a dream. "Fireheart. See." This time, Elara did not speak back, she waited for the moon to shimmer like it did before, she wanted a good look at the image she had seen before. When the moon began to turn clear, Elara almost bolted towards it. But she didn't see herself this time. Instead, it was Morgana she saw. The priestess was in Her usual clothes but her olive eyes were a striking blood red this time. "What is this? What does this mean?" Elara said, turning around you ask the darkness. When she got no reply, she turned back towards the mirror, bit jolted back immediately. Taking Morgana's place was Sera and Lucan. They looked up at each other like they were deeply in love. Elara's heart pulled, but she pushed the hurt to the back of her mind. "See, Fireheart, see" The voice came again. "I can clearly see, but I do not understand. What are you showing me?" Elara
Chapter 3 When Elara finally got out and joined the party, she stood at the door to the great Hall, heart hammering in her chest! The party looked like it had been made for Sera. There was pink everywhere!! The linens and ribbons and towels were all various shades of pink. Not a hint of the black and white that Elara preferred. And yet, Elara smiled. When Morgana began the prayer of blessing, asking the moon goddess to bless and increase Elara's years, she nodded in solemnity. Ever the picture of the perfect Luna. When Alpha Lucan stepped up to the raised podium and everyone hushed in respect, Elara smiled. "Today, marks the beginning of so many things. The day of the death of our former alpha, my father. The day our very own Luna Elara, was born even though it came with it's own concerns, and now, a new addition to our ever-growing family, my new concubine, Sera Danor." The auditorium first went into a chill silence, everyone's eyes turned towards Elara's direction,
Chapter 2 "This....This is wrong! I am not my mother...I have been nothing but faithful to you and my oath as the luna of this pack." She tried very hard to blink back tears. She would not show him her tears, not now, not in front of the omega. "You cannot take a concubine to replace me because of some stupid folklore! I have done my duties to you and to this pack. I have taken everything you have dished out at me. I have been submissive, I have been the perfect Luna, so don't stand there and use something like that as an excuse for your obvious infidelity!!" Elara had forgotten her voice could be that loud. It truly had been years since she stood up to him or anyone. Smack!! The force of Alpha Lucan's slap made her head tilt to the side, wringing her neck in the process. Elara squeezed her palm into a tight fist, her blood boiled from the humiliation. It wasn't the first time her mate was hitting her, he always struck her, but never in front of of an audience, in the p
