The final straw was when her mate got himself an Omega concubine and subject Elara to more disgrace. What happens when the dark and dangerous Alpha Riven of the BloodClaw pack, strolls into her life and offers her a chance at a new life? What happens when she has to make a choice that changes her life forever?
ดูเพิ่มเติมDeath had never felt more fucking welcome than on Elara's own birthday.
The entire pack was outside, waiting to celebrate her life, but inside, her own mate was slowly killing her, burying her alive with his words that cut deeper than any sword or teeth. "... Elara… Can you hear me? This damn bitch... You can’t just zone out when I’m speaking to you.” He said, snapping his fingers in front of her face. “…You need to say those words back to me. Do you understand me? It is important that you say you accept Sera as my concubine now before I tell everyone else in the pack. It shows a united front in our family and our pack in general" "I... I don't understand you..." Elara managed to say. The way he spoke to her was concerning. Like she was the weird one. Like he was not destroying their home and still asking her for a united front. Her mouth felt like it was stuffed with cotton wool, her head was ringing like she had just been hit. He was standing in front of her, but protecting another woman, hiding her behind him, like she was the problem. Like she was not the one who had been hurt. “What is it that you do not understand, Elara? The fact that they was a vacant role in our family that I needed to fill? Or the fact that I am telling you about it?” Alpha Lucan asked, while the other woman still hid behind him. “A vacant role? You mean my role as your mate? As the only female in your life? On my birthday? You’re telling me, your mate, that you chose a concubine and you will be announcing her to the pack as a part of our family on my birthday?” Elara knew she was barely making any sense. Asking questions that she already knew the answers to, but she could not help herself. Some loose strands of her pure white hair fell from the bun on top her hair and landed on her face. A stark reminder of the curse she bore on herself. Her white hair was the reason for all these. The reason he and every one else had hated her since she was born, the reason he was ‘filling up her position’, the reason he was announcing Sera as his new concubine, on her birthday. A party he had planned by himself. He couldn't even wait. He didn't even let her understand or get an opinion. "A concubine? You picked this Omega, as a concubine?! Do you have any idea what you're saying to me? What you're asking me to do? I'm your mate, Lucan!!" Elara snapped at the alpha. It was the first time she had ever raised her voice around him. There were in a one of the grand halls that belonged to the pack where they held many events. He had picked this particular one out for her birthday party himself and it was a few minutes till she would be called out for the celebration proper and yet he had slid into her dressing room with the snake hiding behind him in tow and inform her of his new decision. At her birthday celebration. No wonder he had gone all out with the celebrations. Alpha Lucan had never done anything if he did not stand to gain from it. She had watched him barking out orders at the event organizers to mix in pink colors on the ornaments, plates and towels as they decorated, even though he knew that wasn't her color and she knew it sure as hell wasn't his either. "This decision…this new inclusion in our family, this vacant role that you hope to fill… Do I not get a say in it?" Elara whispered. The omega who had kept her face to the ground the entire time, poked her head up and stared up at Elara through her pitch black hair. If Elara had blinked, she would have missed the sneer that crossed the omega's face. The omega made it worse by giggling, expertly pretending like she had been coughing. “Is something funny, Sera?” Elara asked the omega before she could stop herself. “Don’t speak to her like that.” Elara did a double take at the stern warning growl that left her mates lips as he spoke, defending his new concubine. Elara's usually silent wolf, stirred to the surface. Was this what she had to deal with from now on? Because she had to be frank, there was really no changing his mind. The very fact that she opposed it, would only make him double down on it and make sure it happened. He was always like that with her, she had learned to accept it. In hind sight, this was her fault too. Elara had seen the signs, she had noticed the way he came home late or barely came home at all. She had brushed it off as his usual alpha business and responsibilities, even though the sinking feeling had been there, brewing all along. "Lucan, please, don't be like this. Don't hurt me like this" she whispered, hoping that no one walking on the corridor would hear her begging. It hurt her pride to beg, especially in front of an Omega, but that was what she had been reduced to. This was what she had become. "Do you even hear yourself, Elara? Or are you trying to go against me in front of an omega?" Alpha Lucan spat. “Oh now you know she is an omega! Now you think it is embarrassing? You just said you found me lacking! You just said the only one you could find to fill the role was an omega was an omega you’ve been rolling around in the mud with! All in front of this same omega!” Elara tried her best to tone down her voice, as it would be perceived as disrespectful to raise her voice on her alpha in front of someone as low in rank as an omega. That was why it hurt. She would be sharing her mate with an omega, a low ranking female who should not have been anywhere near her mate. “You’re my mate, Lucan. My mate” "You're my mate, yes, and then what? Can't I at least have a woman in my life who I could be happy with? Who I can actually stand in bed? Because of your curse, I could die today without my alpha heir!" Alpha Lucan seethed, all the while still keeping Sera behind him. The snivelling bitch on the other hand, grabbed on to Alpha Lucan’s broad chest for her dear life. Almost like she was taunting Elara. Blood rushed to Elara's head, as she replayed Lucan’s last words. "My curse? I can bear children, Lucan. You know I can" her heart beat slammed against her ribcage, like it wanted to jump right out of her. "Have you stayed in the pack house for so long, it dulled your brain? Haven't you looked at your self? I should have listened. I was warned, I was told to reject you as my mate and pick someone else that would not bring problems to me, but I was young and stupid and I didn't listen" he said and looked at her obvious white hair with disdain. It was the only thing she received in terms of resemblance from her mother. And right now, it was her curse.Riven didn't even wait for his wolf form to fully fade before moving. The second Elara’s knees buckled, he leaped forward, shifting back into his human form just in time to catch her before she hit the cold stone floor. He pulled her tight against his chest, his arms wrapped around her as her body trembled from total exhaustion."I've got you," Riven breathed, his voice rough and laced with panic. "Elara, look at me. I've got you."Elara’s head rested heavily against his shoulder, her breathing shallow as the massive surge of magic drained every last drop of her strength.Selena rushed over, kneeling beside them with her hands hovering nervously. "The magic... it was too much all at once," she said, her own hands shaking as she checked Elara's pulse. "Her body just gave out from the drain.""Is she going to be okay?" Willow asked, coming up behind them while still supporting a weak Morgana.Riven smoothed the hair back from Elara's sweat-damp forehead, his heart pounding in his
Riven’s eyes burned with pure, unbridled fury as he clamped down harder on Zakiel's neck. Fueled by absolute rage, he thrashed his massive head, repeatedly slamming Zakiel's body against the stone walls and hurling him through the bunker's wooden tables, shattering them to splinters on impact.Zakiel was smashed into surface after surface until he managed to summon a surge of force to pry himself free.Rolling across the debris, Zakiel’s human frame snapped and twisted as he transformed into his own wolf form. With a dark, violent aura rolling off his fur, he let out a menacing, blood-curdling growl straight at Riven."Riven, give me space!" Elara yelled over the chaos. "Clear a path so I can end this once and for all!"Riven didn't hesitate. He lunged forward in his wolf form, sinking his teeth into Zakiel's scruff and dragging him into position, pinning the snarling Alpha right in front of him to hold him dead still.Elara threw both hands forward.A heavy gust of thunder and l
A sinister, desperate realization flared in Zakiel’s bloodshot eyes. Knowing he was outmatched and cornered, he didn't try to break Morgana’s hold directly. Instead, he gathered every last drop of his remaining shadow magic, shaping it into a dark, shadowy whip that lashed out toward Zara. The dark tendril wrapped tight around Zara's throat, yanking her violently across the stone floor and slamming her chest-first into Zakiel’s waiting grip.Zara gasped, her hands scrambling frantically at his forearms as horror cleared the manic fog from her mind. "Zakiel—no! Please—"Zakiel didn't hesitate. He pulled her head back, bared his elongated fangs, and drove them deep into the side of her neck.A sickening, wet tear echoed through the bunker, followed by the gruesome sound of Zakiel greedily swallowing her blood. Zara’s entire frame convulsed in violent spasms as he drained her life force, absorbing her wolf's essence and every shred of magic she possessed. Within seconds, her thrashin
Riven’s lips pulled back into a deadly, brutal smile as he looked down at the writhing man."Now that I know the truth," Riven said, his voice dropping into a dark, lethal register that sent a chill straight through the room, "now that I hear Alpha Zakiel has no real powers of his own—that he was scorned, stripped, and utterly discarded by the Moon Goddess herself..."He let out a low, terrifying chuckle, taking another heavy step forward until he was standing right at the edge of Morgana's crimson magical barrier. He didn't look at a pathetic rival Alpha anymore; he looked at prey."That means you carry no divine protection," Riven growled, the muscles in his jaw ticking as his claws began to unsheathe, gleaming beneath the bunker's dim lights. "You are not a vessel of godhood. You are just a hollow, powerless stain. Which means you are fair game to be slaughtered."Riven tilted his head, his dark eyes locking onto Zakiel’s wide, bloodshot glare with absolute, unyielding intent.
The entrance to the Blood Court loomed ahead...a massive stone arch carved into the mountain itself, guarded by two armored wolves who stood straighter the moment they caught sight of Riven. They didn’t speak, but the deep bow that they gave was enough words for Elara. Then, they just stepped aside
Elara’s life had become a complete shitshow! And yet, he wasnt frightened... not of the madness that had become her life, or of the fact that she would be walking on her own two feet into a den of traitors and power-hungry liars. No, what unsettled her was something much worse. The role Riven had a

Episode 6 Elara woke with a groan and a gasp. The world was upside down and it was moving. She could not feel her legs, only the dull pain of something weighing on her stomach. Or her stomach weighing on something, she couldn't tell. She blinked a few times to clear her head. "what... Where am
