For a couple of seconds after Harris walked into the hospital room, nobody moved.

Harris simply held the bouquet of roses tighter as he watched the two detectives slowly turn to face him.

Detective Blackwell’s eyes widened with shock when he spotted Harris' face. He definitely knew who Harris was, and judging by the shifting expression on the face of his female partner, she did too.
