THEO'S POV.

My body spontaneously stood up, pushing the chair back with sudden emotion. My hands clenched into fists as I looked at Kale. I didn't care that everyone at the dining table was staring at me.

What Kale said raised my guard even more. Something inside me was boiling, but I tried to hold back.

"Watch your words, Kale. Don't push me over the edge if you keep teasing Yvonne," I said firmly without hesitation.

The situation fell silent again.

For a split second, Kale stared at me in shock. He seemed surprised by my actions. However, instead of stopping his own actions, Kale folded his arms across his chest.
