We were in the throne room, tears were glistening on my cheeks, clinging onto a female hunter who was hugging as I sobbed.

“Monster.” I hissed at Darius, holding her while glaring at him.

His head was hanging low. Failing to look up, curling his hands in a fist as I kept glaring at him with my watery eyes.

“Status?” They asked him again strictly.

“Crime?”

“Cold blood murder of Jax, head of the hunters.”

I growled to find this look of emotionless on his face, having no regret of staining his hand in Jax’s blood.
