AVA’s POINT OF VIEW

I stood there like a sculpture staring at Lucas and his so-called girlfriend talking and exchanging words.

“What do you mean by you are pregnant for me, Emily?”

Lucas asked her angrily but she just stood and gazed at me with rage like I had done something wrong to her.

“Lucas, so you left me for this girl? Really? Men beg just to speak to me but you left me because of her? Shame on you Lucas! Shame!”

“Excuse me, Emily. I am Lily Rose, do not address me as this girl anymore”

I spoke confidently and I used my new name. I need to start getting used to the name anyway so I better start now.

“Your name is Lily Rose? Wow, that is a very beautiful name but I will still address you how I want”

I was getting angry so I stepped outside the house. The party wasn't over so it's best if I just keep enjoying it.

Lucas Nana ran and held my hands. She was panting and I wondered what she had to say to me.

“Ava, I have been looking for you, where is Lucas? What is a wedding party without the couple, right?”

“Lucas is with his friend downstairs, Nana. We will join the party spon”

“No, you come with me then since Lucas is not available”

She pulled me to the party ground but my smile was very fake as I didn't really care about the party.

Some of the guests kept giving me lots of gifts. Few said a prayer for me while the others just kept staring and murmuring. Lucas is a good man so I guess a lot of women wanted him, but I needed him the most presently. I needed him to

Help me with my life and revenge. I needed him to help me build my future and life.

I saw Emily walking out of Lucas’s room with anger written all over her face but I didn't pay attention to her.

But what if she is really pregnant with him? What will become of us then?

I kept having different thoughts in my head. I mean not like I cared if she was really pregnant for him but I hope that doesn't make him change his mind about me.

But how did his girlfriend suddenly come out? Didn't she know she was pregnant before? She could have at least waited, right?

I was so pissed. I walked over to the food buffet and got some food to eat for myself. While eating, a lady walked over to me and she kept looking at me like I was a Ghost or something.

I was forced to speak and ask her if she knew me.

“Hi, do you know me? Are you looking for someone?”

“You are the bride, right?”

I looked at my dress and obviously, I was the bride, right? Why was she asking the obvious? I am putting on a white dress and a veil over my head so of course it is my wedding.

I smiled at her and nodded my head.

“Yes, I am the bride. Is something wrong?”

I asked, but she kept fidgeting like she was scared or someone was watching her.

“I overheard a lady outside saying that she would ruin your marriage and get married to your husband”

Immediately the lacy said that I knew it was Lucas’s Girlfriend, Emily. She is the only person who would have said that. That girl is going to be a pest. She is obviously going to give me trouble in the future.

She just needs to hold on for me to get my revenge on Logan then she can have Lucas all to herself. I doubt if the pregnancy she claimed to be for Lucas was really his.

I dropped my plate of food, held the lady's shoulders and smiled forcefully at her. And asked calmly.

“Who exactly is this lady? Is she inside this house right now?”

The lady turned and searched around the house for the lady, but she claimed that the lady wasn't inside.

When I looked around I saw Emily. There were not many guests so it was not hard to even count the guests. So why did she say the lady wasn't in when Emily was clearly right in front of us?

If the lady who said that thing wasn't Emily then who was it?

I held the lady’s hand, pointed at Emily, and asked her if it wasn't Emily, and she said no.

“Wait, are you saying this isn't the lady you saw making a call about breaking my marriage?”

“No, ma'am. It was another lady. She wore a black dress with a white bow on her head”

I stood for a few minutes and just stared in awe. What is happening? Does Lucas have another girlfriend? Who is trying to ruin my marriage with him? This is so crazy!

When I took a close look at the lady she wore a white dress with a black bow. She said the person she overheard making that call wore a black dress and a white bow on her head but she wore the opposite of what she said.

Wait, is she talking about herself? I stared at her face and she smirked. Wait, why is she smirking? Did she just fool me? She was talking about herself the whole time? Why does she want to destroy my marriage? I was too confused and curious not to speak. I had to hear what she had to say, or maybe I was only making things up.

“Excuse me, but did you just describe yourself to me? Were you talking about yourself?”

“Why do you think I was talking about myself? Do I look like a home breaker to you, Ava”

How does she even know my name? Oh, my God, this is so scary.

“Who are you? And why are you acting mysterious?”

“How does a mysterious person act?”
