CHAPTER 13

The convent games started on Monday, with all the schools arriving on Sunday. Each school was given a hostel, some hostels were on the host school premises while some schools were taken to the church Conference hostels. A total of 21 schools were present. The football along with other games was going on simultaneously. The Annunciation convent topped the medal table with 15 gold medals and 5 silver in addition to the 6 bronze they won on the first day. On the Wednesday evening of the week, the semi-final matches were played, in the first semi-final game, the Annunciation convent won the St Anthony memorial girls while in the second semi-final game, the Morning Stars convent defeated the All saints convent too. Around 6 pm that Wednesday, all outdoor games were stopped for the indoor games.
