Xander's POV

The gash she had on her back had me almost gasping for breath. One thing I am very sure of is the fact that she has no deep scar on her body. Kira loves to expose her smooth back, especially when it comes to swimming.

As much as I might like to deny it, I have always wished I could run my hands over her smooth skin so bad. But seeing this now, I don't think I really want to.

I could see her legs tapping the floor anxiously, my wolf was practically scruffing. Like we can do anything to whoever she said hurt her.

Taking in a deep breath, I finally sat my butt down. "Alright Kira, what exactly is all of this about? And why do I have to be involved?"

Pulling her cloth down, she sat in front of me. "Declan and Leila want to take my birthright from me."

I rolled my eyes, "yes, you mentioned it the other time. What I don't understand is your reason for wanting me to be involved in all of this."

Holding up her legs, she threw her head to the back. "To be sincere Xander. I am
