Chapter 57: It's A Code Not An Alibi

"Are you trying to defend her?", Gabriel eyed his son-in-law.

"No, I am just saying we shouldn't jump into any conclusion, she might have a valid reason for doing so", Nathaniel explained.

"Give me an example of a valid reason", Gabriel demanded but Nathaniel couldn't come up with any, making the old man hiss.

"Even if they are her shares, I'm going to find out who she gave them to, cause I don't trust that girl one bit", Gabriel said, standing up.

Nathaniel held the paper with a puzzled expression on his face.

"I won't hesitate to kick her out of the business, if she's planning something bad", Gabriel said in a serious tone before walking out.

Nathaniel signed, his mind thinking of different possibilities why Rose would have given her shares to someone else. And he couldn't ask her because she wasn't in the city.

The door to the study opened and Tiffany walked in. Seeing how her father left the study with a frown she could sense something was wrong.
