Aurelia's Pov “Aurelia, Aurelia, get your lazy ass up, we're late.” A loud voice echoed through my dreams.

My eyes blinked open, a blinding light hit, I squinted my eye, trying to adjust to it.

What was going on? I still remember the pain that crawled through my body as I breathed my last.

The sounds of angry footsteps storming towards my direction soon filled the air, the door burst open

“Good, you're awake, Look alive girl, go get dressed.

” My brows furrowed “Elle?” I called, was I in the after life, my eyes went round the room, from the red paint to the familiar special lighting Elle had gifted me, this room felt oddly familiar.

“I swear if you make me call out to you once more I am going to commit murder, and believe me, you do not want to be on the receiving end of my murder plans.” She shot me a glare. I stifled a giggle, “Even in the after life you still sound like you did when you were still alive.” My eyes burned with tears remembering how unjustly she had died and it was all my fault.

She looked at me like I had lost it, she touched my forehead with the back of her hand, “You're not running a fever, did you hit your head somewhere? What the hell are you mumbling about?” she scoffed.

“I—” the words got stuck in my throat immediately my eyes caught my reflection in the mirror, I stood fully, rushing to it,

“Impossible.” I mumbled, “How?” My face was as clear as jade, skin smooth, my hands still having callouses from years of hard and rigorous training, and I was dressed exactly in the same dresses I wore before I married Edgar.

“Are you alright?” My best friend's voice was softer now, her eyes shone with worry.

“What's today's date?”

“12th May, 2024. Why?

” I suddenly blinked twice, I was back. But how?

Tears pooled at my eyes, looking at the face that had once sacrificed herself for me, risking everything just to save me. This time I was going to make it right.

My arms wrapped around her, pulling her into my embrace, “I've missed

you.”“Don't be silly, you saw me last night. And have you forgotten? We're meeting the others at the training ground, to discuss the arrangement.” She groaned but didn't disentangle herself from the hug.

My mind went back to what had happened previously, in my past life I remembered this was the day I had a major fallout with Elle, all for that bastard.

He had proposed a marriage alliance between human and wolves, to quell the rebellion, this was the turning point of everything, I had believed their lies, listened to strangers against my own best friend, and look how it came back to bite me in the ass, a self mocking laugh left my lips, well, I deserved it.

“Grrrrrrrrrrr” a loud ring from her phone cut through my thoughts “those impatient fools are already waiting, come on let's go.” She grabbed my hands and just like that she dragged me through familiar halls sprinting to a field that I had last seen painted in red.

“Finally, Captain over here.” a cheerful voice called out, waving over at us

My eyes blurred instantly, “you guys.” The words were stuck in my mouth.

I was really back, three years before I gave up everything for an empty title, three years before I was deceived by the wolves and let my family die in vain. Was this a chance or an opportunity from God?

A chance to make things right?

Good. As I watched my friends and family interact happily, my mind already made up, the pain from loosing my child and dying while Edgar fucked over my corpse etched deeply in my mind.

This time I wasn't that naive human he thought I was, no, I am going to make him regret ever crossing parts with him.

And unluckily for him, I came back with the exact memories that will be his ruin.
