Chapter 10

"Mum, Dad. You come early. How was the ride? I miss you very much." Christa comes trotting down the steps from the lobby and embraces her mother.

Savanna Taylor is an educated, amiable, and exquisitely dressed professor at the university; she is an excellent mother and listener. Christa has this unaccounted feeling that red tea belongs to her mother, for it is elegant, composed, and uncomplicated.

Dean Taylor, on the other hand, is a severe man who seldom smiles or is easy to talk with. He is a president at the university and home because he is always exceedingly strict with Christa. Fortunately, Christa is not afraid of her father at all.

"Behave yourself. Christa, you are a married woman now." Dean raises his voice to his daughter. Christa paid no attention to whatever her father had said, but still acted like a spoiled child. Soon there is a tight group of people around them.

"Let’s move to the garden, shall we? I believe Alfred has already finished his reading." Eva shows the way.
