Chapter Eleven

Nick’s POV

Once we both catch our breaths, and calm down I walk back to the bathroom. Wetting a washcloth with the water that is still running in the shower. Then I shut it off and walk back into the bedroom. I hear her purring and see that she is asleep. With her face shoved into my pillow.

I have to stifle a laugh at the sight of her. Walking over I gently roll her back, and clean between her legs. Caius is saying something about her scent being off. I shake my head and walk to the bathroom throwing the cloth in the hamper and shutting the light off.

Her heat would be coming soon, is what I thought the change in her scent was. Caius is admit that she won't be going into heat any time soon, which confuses me. We have marked and mated, she should go into heat.
