EVELYN POV

Harry's hands cupped his cheeks as John flashed a wide, almost smug grin. I hadn't seen John smile like that before, but honestly, I didn’t care. It only disgusted me that he dared to call himself a "dad." That title should be earned, not thrown around.

"Harry, come here. Let’s go." I said with a cheerful voice but he shook his head.

"No, let Mr. Handsome carry me today," Harry replied, his words laced with admiration as he glanced up at John.

I clenched my fists, my stomach knotting. Harry kept going on about John's "perfect" features—his eyebrows, his smile, everything. I could feel my anger bubbling up as I rolled my eyes and started walking toward the workers.

"Ma'am?"

One of the workers, his eyes lighting up when he saw me approach, immediately bowed his head.

"Welcome, ma'am. I’m Elvis, the senior worker here. I’m sure you came to look around with your husband."
