I was looking at my daughter, who was looking at me with a smile. She wants me to get back with her father, but she doesn't know how much he hates me and thinks low of me.

Ryan kissed my cheek, startling me. I turned my face and looked at him, then touched my cheek where his lips touched me.

"He kissed us" Anika howled in happiness while my heart was beating at higher speed. Ryan looked at our daughter, Jenny, then winked at her, making her giggle. I understood he intentionally kissed me in front of Jenny to show her how good he is and how much he loves and cares about her mother.

"Think about our daughter before making any decision." He said in a low tone, then looked at me.

"Remember, if you didn't marry me, then I will apply for Jenny's custody in the werewolves council... So think, baby girl and make a wise decision if you don't want to lose your daughter." He said and again took out some paper from his coat pocket.

"I knew you would destroy the papers after reading the conditions. That's why I asked my lawyer to make two copies", he muttered and kept the copy of the contract on the desk and passed me the pen.

"You have no option but to sign this paper," He said, showing me how vulnerable I am in front of him. I snatched the pen from his hand, making him laugh at my misery.

Tears fall from my eyes and fall on the papers. I took a deep breath and signed the contract with a heavy heart, knowing from here my life would be miserable. I secretly wiped my tears and passed the pen to Ryan.

He looked at the pen and then at me before turning his head towards his beta, who nodded and took out a pen from his pocket to give it to his Alpha. Ryan took the pen and signed the papers.

"You don't want to touch the pen touched by me, yet you want me to fulfil the duties of a wife", I mocked him for his boorish behaviour before walking towards Jenny. She happily hugged me.

"Finally, I have a complete family!" " she shouted in happiness. I smiled and picked her up in my arms.

"I can do anything for your smile, baby" I whispered and kissed her forehead.

"Daddy!" She called for Ryan and then asked him to come closer. He smiled and did as his princess asked. He encircled his hand around my shoulder and then kissed Jenny's cheek as he kissed mine.

"I don't know if we ever be able to become each other perfect mates or not, but I'm sure we are going to be amazing parents for you, princess, " he said, looking into my eyes. I nodded and smiled in satisfaction. At least my sacrifice wasn't going to get wasted.

"Okay, guys, my granddaughter and I decided to go on a trip for a week," my mom announced, surprising me with her sudden plan.

"Trip?"

"Yes... I want you two to have fun and spend time together after marriage. If I stay here, then your attention will be on me instead of Daddy, and I don't want it. That's why me and grandma planned a trip together," Jenny said and clapped her hand excitedly. I look at my mom who passed me an awkward smile. I understood it was her plan that she fit in my innocent daughter's head.

"Okay, we have to pack our belongings" Mom said and took Jenny in her arms.

"You should go with Ryan to his pack and don't worry about her. I will take good care of her and will drop her at his pack after the trip," She said and went outside before I could say anything.

"I can't believe this" Ryan snarled and shook his head. I look at him bewildered.

"You used my daughter for your dirty plans" He grunted, tightening his grip around my shoulder. I look at his hand and then at him.

"I'm not getting what you're saying, Ryan"

"A five-year-old girl can't think so much. Obviously, it was your plan. You asked your mother and my princess to go on a trip" He pushed me away from him.

"If you think we can come close by spending time together,  then let me clear your misunderstanding; I will never fall in love with women like you", he snarled and looked at me from head to toe with disgust as if I came out of the mud. I didn't say anything to clear his misunderstanding because I knew he would never believe me.

"Let's go, Max" He ordered his Beta.

"What about her, Alpha?" Max asked Ryan and gave me a judgemental look after hearing his Alpha question.

"She is an independent girl who can go anywhere she wants. I don't care", Ryan grunted and walked outside the courtroom. Max shook his head in disappointment and went behind his Alpha. I rolled my eyes and sat on the chair, unable to believe I loved a person like him.

"Are you sure, you want to hide your wolf rank from Ryan?" My mom asked me through mindlink.

"I'm not hiding but not telling him and I don't think it matters to him. He is an as*hole who doesn't care about anyone but himself" I groaned in frustration, unable to believe he left me alone just after marrying me.

"He is now your mate, Monika. I think you should forget what happened in the past and move on," My mom advised me.

“But Mom” Before I could say something, she interrupted me.

"At least for your daughter, you have to mend your relationship with him," she said. I sighed and nodded.

"I will try" I replied and closed the mindlink before I broke down into tears. If she knew what Ryan thinks about me and how he treats me then she wouldn't have let me marry him. I sighed and went outside, then looked up.

"Why you make him my fated mate, Moon Goddess? Did you hate me so much that after so many rejections, I had to choose him as my mate?" I asked the mother of werewolves. She wrote thornes and immense pain in my love life.

"He hates me for the mistakes I made in the past, but I wish he could see how broken I'm from inside", I whispered in a low tone and wiped the unwanted tears which always betrayed my eyes. I hate to cry like a weakling.

I took deep breaths to calm myself and think about what I should do next.

"Your Highness", I was lost in my thoughts when a man came to me and bowed his head in front of me.

"Mother Luna sent this car and asked me to pick you up for Wild Pack", He said. I look at him and then at his car.

"Wild pack means Ryan's pack," I thought and looked back at his warrior.

"Say thank you to Mother Luna for sending this car for me, but I can't come with you," I said with a polite smile. He looked at me shockingly as if he didn't expect me to go against his Alpha's order.

"Are you sure?" He asked to confirm. I nodded and walked towards my car.

"What are you planning, Monika?" Anika asked.

"I'm planning to prove that bas*ard Alpha that he is not wrong. I'm an independent woman who can easily break his stupid male ego"
