41. Your Payback.

April's POV

I was in school, the principal's office, and Lucy and Alexa. Conrad was there, giving us the final instructions for the birthday ball.

"We will leave tomorrow at the break of dawn. You will only be there for a few days, so you won't need to pack much. I'll have my cars pick you up at your homes, so make sure none of you are late. Any form of lateness will immediately disqualify you from going to the ball, and prompt and severe punishment will follow. I already told the principal here to give you three passes for absence from school. I also suggest that you head home early and get enough rest. Once we get to the Royal Empire, there'll be many things to be done in preparation for the birthday ball."

Lucy seemed undisturbed by the punishment part and was nearly leaping in joy.

"I honestly can't wait to get to the Royal Empire. This is going to be the trip of a lifetime. But I have to ask: Are we to bring a dress for the ball?"
