CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

ALEXANDER stepped out of his carriage. He adjusted the furry wool coat he was wearing and put on his thick beanie cap.  

Pintraid was cursed. They had barely entered winter and it was freezing outside. Alex was sure he would to turn to ice if he didn’t find something warm to stay by.

His assistant stood beside him, standing at full attention. He missed his castle but he only went away for a month. Living out of the castle sounded dreadful at first but it wasn’t so bad after he got used to the environment. 

He was tired of standing in the cold, looking like a dummy. He needed to get inside to something warm. 

“John let us go in now.” John bowed. Three guards opened the large heavy golden gate of the castle. The castle hadn’t changed ever since he left it but he only left a month, most of the castle was covered in snow. “Sire, do you want to enter the carriage or walk in?”
