Part Eighty

Ramos woke up at 8 PM. He felt somewhat rested but also that he could sleep for two more hours. He got up and took another shower. Juniper ordered coffee from room service and by the time Ramos came out of the shower, his coffee had just arrived.

“Are you sure I shouldn’t go with you?” Juniper asked him.

“You’ll just get in my way and then I’ll have to worry about you the whole time,” Ramos replied.

Secretly she was relieved. She didn’t want to be anywhere near Seward when Ramos killed Malachi. She truly hoped that he wouldn’t get caught and she wanted him to succeed very badly. She was tired of moving, tired of this cold place, and tired of having to scheme and plot to survive.
