I couldn't move as I stared into his dark blue eyes.

I could see his laughing as his eyes flickered. I was feeling angry at the same time scared at that time. I wanted to cry to criticize him with the betrayal he had made.

But all of a sudden, I realized that it was just a bad dream.My hands were sweating and I quickly chased my breath at that time. Until that dream would that man visit me?

He offered his arm to me so I slowly grabbed it. We walked to the dining area where there was a lot of food ready.He helped me sit in the chair before he sat down beside me. I noticed he was smiling as he looked at me.

"I think I should tour you in all areas of Valentin so you can recognize the place where you are leading with me," he said.

I was almost shocked at what he told me. I saw him smiling looking at me so I was forced to smile.

"I hope you don't let me wait for so long anymore," he added.

 

I didn't hold back and tried to smile at him.

 

I don't know if he noticed that I was uncomfortable with what he was saying. But I had to pretend I'm just okay and no problem.

 

"I'm just kidding, Riana.Like what I told you I'm willing to wait," he took his words back.

I could feel him gently holding my hand.

 

"I feel like you're scared of anything. I don't know what you were going through before you got down here. But I just want you to know that you'll be safe here with me," he said seriously as he looked into my eyes

I immediately lost his grip on my hand. I simply smiled at him and thanked everything he helped. I told him that I really appreciated his kindness to me.

"Thank you for everything, Alpha. Everything you helped me I don't know how to make it up to you. Thank you for making me feel that I'm safe here," I thanked him and smiled.

"Just said yes to me, Riana. Just said yes, "he responded in a cold tone of his voice.

His eyes were seriously looking at me at that time. I wanted to avoid it but those stares seemed to have a magnet. I could feel the sweat in my hands as we stared at each other.

I saw him laugh softly and I saw how gentlemanly he was to me. He offered his hand again to help me stand up.

 

As he said, he went to me all over Valentin. All around us I noticed looking at me. But there was a woman who was also looking at me badly. Why I felt that it already happens to me before? Why is he treating me like the way Alpha Killian treated me before?

I just nodded at him and said goodbye before I go to my room. I knew I would be unfair to him to keep my secrets.But I' don't want him to know about my past.

“Can I forget the past to start with Alpha Diego again?” I asked myself.
