Weeks after we defeated the rogues was a frenzy of activity. There were not enough hours in the day to handle business inside my region and fortify the recently created alliance with Drystan's pack.

But above all, my main driving forces were to make sure my mate Athena and our kids, Anna and Hendrix, were safe. Though the threat of the rogues may have subsided, this unique alliance of former enemies might bring forth fresh, sneakier threats at any time.
